Recipients of an NSF I-Corps grant, the 1st prize of the NE CleanTech Open, MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition, and ASU Innovation Open (IoT); also featured in Forbes’s 2020 30-under-30 list in Energy.
Sebastien is founder and CEO of Amplified Industries. Originally from Biarritz, France, Sebastien developed and patented the core technology behind Amplified Industries during his research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology ("MIT") where he graduated with a MS & Ph.D from the Aero/Astro department in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He also completed post-doc work in machine learnings/artificial intelligence at MIT. Prior to MIT, Sebastien received an MS on mechanical engineering from Ecole Centrale and a MS in physics from Paris XI in France. During his studies, Sebastien conducted research for Schlumberger and Siemens Turbomachinery.
Charles-Henri (Charles) is co-founder and COO of Amplified Industries. Charles joined Amplified Industries prior to its founding in 2019 while completing post-doc work in applied mathematics at MIT (sponsored by Equinor). Prior to MIT, Charles received an MS and Ph.D in mathematics from MINES ParisTech in France in 2014 and 2017, respectively. During his studies, Charles worked as a software engineer at both Schlumberger and IDMOG/FieldBox.ai and completed his Ph.D work with Total's refining and chemicals division.
Louis Creteur is co-founder and CTO of Amplified Industries. Louis is a full-stack developer focused on the development of the Conductor platform. Prior to Amplified Industries, Louis worked at LeanBox, a food and beverage start-up in the Boston, MA area, as techincal lead and senior engineer. Prior to LeanBox, Louis worked as a full-stack engineer at Orbose in Boston, MA and developer at Improveeze in France. Louis received an MS in computer and information sciences from EPSI Arras in France in 2014.
Eric Zhang is co-founder and CFO of Amplified Industries. Prior to Amplified Industries, Eric worked on the Real Assets strategy team at HarbourVest Partners in Boston, MA focused on investments in the energy, infrastructure, and natural resources spaces. Prior to HarbourVest, Eric worked as an investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Houston, TX focusing on the oil & gas and power sectors. Eric graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with MPA/BBA degrees in 2013.
